
François Aubry
Professeur, département de travail social de l'Université du Québec en Outaouais
Francois Aubry est docteur en sociologie de l’Université de Franche-Comté (France) et en gérontologie de l’Université de Sherbrooke (Québec). Il a réalisé son postdoctorat à l’Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et sécurité du travail (IRSST). Il a réalisé deux années en qualité de chercheur d’établissement dans deux centres affiliés universitaires, en Estrie et à Montréal. Il est actuellement professeur au département de travail social de l’Université du Québec en Outaouais.
Intérêts de recherche
- Analyse des pratiques professionnelles des préposés aux bénéficiaires et auxiliaires en santé et services sociaux
- Enjeux de gestion (fidélisation, SST, etc.) et sociaux (genre, âge, ethnicisation) de la pratique des préposés et auxiliaires.
- Recherches portant sur l’organisation des CHSLD et autres types de ressources d’hébergement pour les ainés (résidences privées pour ainés, ressources intermédiaires) et de soutien aux ainés (EESAD, organismes communautaires, tables de concertation).
